ARTIST STATEMENT

Each painting is a dance of pigment on canvas: a spectacle, a performance.

But what I create is only half of it.  You bring your experiences, emotions, and state of mind to the painting and your reaction completes it.  It is an active connection between us.  My goal is to draw you into an experience.  No two viewings of a work are the same.

The dance is constantly alive.
